Gregory N. Thomas

Gregory N. Thomas, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of ThomasPartners leads the firm and manages all strategic investment allocations. Greg has been in the investment banking, investment advisory and private equity investment businesses for over 30 years. Formerly a Partner of William Blair & Company and the Vice Chairman of Tucker Anthony Sutro, Greg spent many years making private equity, real estate and venture capital investments for a small group of independent investors. He currently serves as a director/ and or executive officer of several small venture-backed companies. Greg received a B.A. from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has served as an adjunct professor of business at the College of Charleston.
