Daniel J. Fischer

Dan Fischer is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Foreign Exchange (FX) Marketing at Bear Stearns. Mr. Fischer has spent the past nine years working within the FX Department at Bear Stearns in a series of marketing and sales related roles with increasing responsibilities. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Fischer was a Marketing Manager for Lehman Brothers Global Asset Management in London where he was responsible for distribution of Lehman’s off-shore hedge funds, fund of funds products, and managed futures investments. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers Mr. Fischer was head of New Business Development at Chang Crowell Management, a Connecticut based Commodity Trading Advisor. Mr. Fischer began his financial career at the FINEX division of the NY Cotton exchange where he marketed the US Dollar Index Futures. He holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University and a Bachelors of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
