Katie Hall

Co-Chairman, Co-Chief Executive Officer, CIO, Offit Hall Capital Management

Kathryn A. Hall is the Co-Chairman, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Offit Hall Capital Management LLC, and a member of the firm’s Investment Review Committee. Prior to her current position, Ms. Hall was President, Managing Member and a Managing Director of Laurel Management Company, and a member of the Laurel Management Investment Committee. In October 1989, Ms. Hall founded Laurel Management Partners, the predecessor to Laurel Management Company. From inception through June 1994, Laurel Management Partners was the general partner of Laurel Arbitrage Partners, a risk arbitrage investment partnership. Prior to establishing Laurel Management Partners, Ms. Hall was one of two individual general partners of HFS Management Partners (a predecessor to Farallon Capital Partners, a large multi-strategy fund), the general partner of a risk arbitrage partnership, HFS Partners I, and two related foreign partnerships. Ms. Hall was also a general partner of Hellman & Friedman, a leading buyout/growth capital firm, from January 1987 to June 1989. Prior to joining HFS and Hellman & Friedman, Ms. Hall worked in the risk arbitrage department of Morgan Stanley from 1984-1986, and in its mergers and acquisitions department from 1980-1982. Currently, Ms. Hall is a member of the Board of Directors of Princeton University Investment Company (“PRINCO”). She is also Director of the American Century Mountain View Funds. She serves on the advisory boards of Riva Capital Partners (Abrams Capital), Qiming Venture Partners, and General Catalyst Fund (Fund III). She also serves on the Investment Committee of the UCSF Foundation and is on the Board of The Thacher School. She previously served on the Boards of Princeton University, Stanford Management Company, Mills College, the San Francisco Day School, Larkin Street Youth Center, Juma Ventures and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Ms. Hall graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1980 with an A.B. in Economics. She received an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1984.
