Mark Schoenfeld

Mark Schoenfeld is a Managing Director with Carlyle Realty.  Mr. Schoenfeld is Carlyle’s first real estate employee having joined the firm approximately 18 years ago.  During that time, Mr. Schoenfeld has been directly involved in most facets of Carlyle Realty’s operations, including leading the investment in approximately $2 billion of equity in various real estate transactions around the country.  His current responsibilities are sourcing and overseeing all product type investments in Washington, DC and New York City as well as sourcing/overseeing lodging investments nationwide.  Mr. Schoenfeld also has responsibility in raising equity capital.  Mr. Schoenfeld is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan State University, having graduated among the top 25 students in a graduating class of 10,000, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for students of business and management.
