Robert Spiegel

Mr. Spiegel is responsible for the Private Equity effort for the SFP Group, a 15-member team providing comprehensive money management services to high net-worth individuals and small institutions. He also serves as Managing Member of the Trautman Wasserman 8701 Opportunities Fund, an early state venture fund and the Trautman Wasserman Market Opportunities Fund. Prior to joining Trautman Wasserman, Mr. Spiegel had over 14 years of experience in the financial service industry. He began his career at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert and then moved to Rodman and Renshaw. In 1990, he was one of the founding partners of a NYSE Investment Bank, which he helped build into a 400-person operation with over $2 billion in assets. As a Senior Managing Director, Mr. Spiegel managed over $350 million dollars for high net-worth individuals and small institutions in both public and private investments. Mr. Spiegel received a B.A. in Marketing from Syracuse University.
