Mikael Totterman
Mr. Totterman is responsible for overseeing the sales, software development, and imaging operations for the company. Prior to joining VirtualScopics, he served as one of the three principals responsible for managing 3Com’s $250 million strategic venture fund where he focused on identifying, negotiating, and managing 3Com’s investments in early stage technology companies. Specifically, he managed 3Com’s existing investment in companies such as Aether Systems, Parthus and AvantGo as well as executing new investments in MeshNetworks, AirPrime, Intransa and Silicon Wave. Prior to joining 3ComVentures, Mr. Totterman worked for the Boston Consulting Group with a focus on corporate strategy in industries ranging from medical devices to high tech, and he also gained experience as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers. Mr. Totterman received a B.S. degree in Engineering from Stamford and an M.B.A. degree from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.
