Garcia has been named chairman of the Miami group of TIGER21, a peer-to-peer learning group for high net worth investors. He is chiefexecutive officer of Garcia Trujillo, a Miami-based consulting, merchantbanking and venture capital firm focusing on the global Hispanic market.He serves on the board of directors of Winn Dixie Stores, Inc. and anadvisory board of Aetna. He has received two presidential appointments:to serve on a national education commission, and as chairman of theU.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors.
