David Hou

David C. Hou and his partners are members of the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Hou’s 22 member group is one of the largest and most successful teams at Merrill Lynch and they currently address $7.0 billion in assets for 325 families. He and his team focus exclusively on advising high net worth families, public company executives, and successful entrepreneurs in managing their personal investment assets. Mr. Hou graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Economics/Business in 1988. After graduation, he worked with the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, Inc., as a financial analyst. Mr. Hou attended the UCLA Anderson School and graduated in 1992. He then joined the Los Angeles, CA office of Goldman Sachs in the Private Client Services department. In April 1997, Mr. Hou and his entire team joined Merrill Lynch and helped to create and build the Private Banking and Investment Group into its current day form. Mr. Hou is a Founding Director of the South Central Gifted Scholar Fund and he resides in Pacific Palisades, CA with his wife, Evelyn, and their two daughters.
