Keith Meister has over ten years of financial management experience. Mr. Meister has developed an expertise as a generalist investor with significant experience in distressed investing, value equity and private equity investing, venture capital and real estate. Mr. Meister's responsibilities at Icahn Associates include idea generation, investment analysis and portfolio management. Mr. Meister joined Icahn Associates in June 2002. From March 2000 through 2001, Mr. Meister co-founded and served as co-president of J Net Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on investments in information technology and enterprise software businesses. From 1997 through 1999, Mr. Meister served as an investment professional at Northstar Capital Partners, an opportunistic real estate investment partnership. Prior to Northstar, Mr. Meister served as an investment analyst in the investment banking group at Lazard Freres. He also served as Principal Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of American Property Investors, Inc., the general partner of American Real Estate Partners, L.P., a publicly traded real estate partnership which is majority owned by Mr. Icahn. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of the following companies: XO Communications, Inc., TransTexas Gas Corporation, and American Casino and Entertainment Properties. Mr. Meister received an A.B. in Government in 1995 from Harvard College.
