Tony Blankley has taken the world of punditry by storm. Having spent much of his career in pivotal positions with a variety of influential policymakers, he brings to his speeches his perspective as both a political insider and analyzer. For seven years, Tony Blankley served as press secretary to then Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich. In that role, he not only helped create the messages that shook the country, but also helped create policy. Blankley’s knack for catchy sound bites (which he calls his “poor man’s poetry”) and sound political strategy established him as one of Washington's premiere sources of ideas and insights. Working for the most renowned speaker of the house in decades, Blankley became one of the leading spokesmen for the Contract with America. Prior to his career on Capitol Hill, Blankley served President Reagan as a speechwriter and senior policy analyst. Exclusively represented by Leading Authorities, Blankley uses his background to provide insight into the politics and policies that are making the headlines.

Approaching moguls of media. After leaving Newt Gingrich’s office in 1997, Blankley joined John F. Kennedy Jr.’s George magazine. As a contributing editor, Blankley's monthly column “Between the Lines” featured his inside-the-beltway insights. He was also enlisted as a regular panelist on The McLaughlin Group. In addition, he appeared regularly on CNN’s Crossfire, and can still be seen on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, Rivera Live, The Nightly News with Brian Williams and Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes. In 1999, Blankley joined The Washington Times as a weekly political columnist. Formerly editorials editor at the Times, Blankley is now executive vice president for global affairs with Edelman, a political public relations firm in Washington, DC. He is a senior visiting fellow for Strategic National Security at the Heritage Foundation.

The same depth of knowledge and sharp wit that kept reporters turning to him during his time on Capitol Hill have made Blankley one of today’s leading media commentators. His opinions and analysis of political events have been featured on the front pages of The New York Times, USA Today, and other major publications. Blankley authored his first book, The West’s Last Chance: Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations?, which quickly shot onto The New York Times bestseller list.

An insider’s viewpoint with a pundit’s point of view. Blankley has quickly become a favorite speaker of corporate and association audiences around the country. He draws from his firsthand experience in both the executive and congressional branches to present speeches that provide a seasoned peek into today’s headlines, as well as the issues that will fill tomorrow’s.

Tony Blankley is a distinctive, distinguished voice in political analysis. His work behind the scenes and in front of the camera has enabled him to sharpen his skills as a wonk, as an orator, and as a debater. He speaks about the personalities in public office, and the people who vote for them. His insights take audiences into the heart of American politics, and provide an engaging forum full of ideas and shrewd observations of democracy in action.
