Luke T. Jacobs

Prior to becoming a partner of Barrantys LLC, Luke T. Jacobs was an Erie County Assistant District Attorney based in Buffalo, NY where he successfully prosecuted jury and non-jury trials ranging from assault to homicide.Mr. Jacobs has extensive investment experience and presently sits on several investment committees with over $1 billion in aggregate assets under management.  His investment management expertise is also actively applied to numerous client family foundations.  He serves on the board of the Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo and is Chairman of its Investment Committee.  He is the Chairman of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation and is also on the investment committees for Kalieda Health Systems, Canisius College and Nichols School.Mr. Jacobs has a B.A. from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. and a J.D. from University of Notre Dame Law School.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
