Eric Bennett

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Tolleson Wealth Management

Eric Bennett is Chairman and CEO of Tolleson Wealth Management’s Private Wealth Management group. He is responsible for managing the employees and business operations of the private wealth management team. He also leads the client services team and directs the firm’s investment, tax, estate and risk management specialists. In addition, he serves on the board of directors of Tolleson Wealth Management and is chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee. Bennett was hired in 1997 to help build and manage the family office for the Tolleson family. In 2000, he co-founded with John Tolleson the shared family office company, which now is the firm’s private wealth management group. Throughout his entire career, Mr. Bennett has focused on providing objective investment, tax, estate and financial planning advice to wealthy individuals. He began his career with Coopers and Lybrand in 1987 after earning a finance degree with honors from the University of Missouri. He later joined the Dallas office of Ernst & Young, where he served as senior manager of the personal finance planning group and led the firm’s Southwest Area Investment Advisory Services team. Mr. Bennett is a chartered financial analyst, certified public accountant, personal financial specialist and an investment advisor representative. He serves on the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Foundation Board and Investment Committee, the Children’s Hospital Planned Giving Council, and the Communities Foundation of Texas Advisory Council.
