John C. McLeod is Director, International Solutions with RBC Wealth Management in Toronto. He works with high-net-worth clients and their professional advisors to develop and implement customized international wealth management plans and strategies.
Mr. McLeod began his career in the Canadian trust industry. He now has nearly two decades of international experience within RBC, working with RBC Wealth Management offices based in virtually all parts of the world. He has held a range of management positions, and has acquired extensive experience and expertise in achieving long-term wealth management goals through the use of international trust and company structures, family and charitable foundations and other asset protection and succession strategies. In addition to private banking and credit arrangements, his clients receive services ranging from multi-jurisdictional strategies for investment management and estate planning to specialized solutions such as captive insurance structures in closely held companies. He now concentrates primarily on serving clients residing in Ontario and parts of the United States.
Mr. McLeod holds degrees in sociology and business from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has also earned the internationally recognized Trust and Estate Practitioner designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
