Ravilochan Pola

As President & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Inc (KM Inc), New York, Mr. Pola manages the US, Canada and South American business of the Kotak Mahindra group. Mr. Pola has been with the Kotak Mahindra group in India since 1994 heading various Capital Market related initiatives and business divisions. At Kotak -Mumbai, he was the Head of Syndications until 1997 where he over saw some of the largest project finance and lease deals in the country at that time. He later managed the Corporate Finance team including lending, syndications and products development. In this role, he oversaw various regional offices of Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd. In 1999, he moved to the former joint venture with Goldman Sachs on the Investment Banking business – Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, managing  corporate relationships within India. He moved to New York in April 2001 as the President and CEO of KM Inc managing a team dealing with diverse type of investors – institutional and high net worth individuals and family offices – providing them solutions and platforms for investing into India.Prior to joining Kotak, Mr. Pola worked at various corporations in India in their corporate and project finance divisions.Mr. Pola is the recipient of the ‘50 Outstanding Asian American Business Leaders for 2006-07’ by the Asian American Business Development Council at New York. Mr. Pola is a Chartered Accountant and a Law graduate.He has been a frequent speaker at various distinguished forums on topics mostly related to Indian Capital Markets including:1.
