Penny Pritzker is an innovative business builder, a civic leader and philanthropist with more than twenty-five years of experience in real estate and other industries. Ms. Pritzker is based in Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to her position at Artemis, Ms. Pritzker is Chairman/CEO of Pritzker Realty Group. She is also chairman of TransUnion as well as chair and co-founder of Vi (formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt) and The Parking Spot.
Ms. Pritzker serves on President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, which advises the Obama Administration on economic growth and job creation. She previously served on President Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board.
Additionally, Ms. Pritzker serves on the board of Hyatt Corporation and is a past board member of the Wrigley Company, Marmon Group and LaSalle Bank Corporation. She sits on the board of the Council on Foreign Relations, is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable, and is a trustee of Stanford University and of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is a former chairman of the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and a former member of the Harvard University Board of Overseers.
Ms. Pritzker earned her bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University and J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Stanford University.
