Steve is the Chairman and CEO of The Trendlines Group, Ltd., a company which he co-founded in 2007. The Trendlines Group is Israel's leading early stage investor in medical device and agricultural technologies with a portfolio of some 60 companies.
Steve began his career with the Chicago branch of Bank Leumi in 1979. He advanced through a number of financial marketing and lending positions including director of marketing. Steve continued with Leumi when he and his family moved to Israel in 1985. At Bank Leumi in Israel, Steve rose to the position of deputy manager of the Bank's International Division. In 1988, Steve joined SRD Medical as the company's CFO, later moving to the company's marketing department, becoming vice president of sales and marketing. He left the company in 1993, forming Trendlines International with Todd Dollinger. After serving on the board of the Misgav incubator for many years, Steve became the CEO in 2005.
Steve earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.
