John Hunter

 John R. Hunter, Attorney/C.P.A., is a partner with THE BLUM FIRM, P.C., a law firm founded in 1980 in Fort Worth, Texas by Marvin Blum. The firm, consisting of twelve attorneys, seven of whom are also Certified Public Accountants, specializes in the areas of planning for closely-held businesses, estate planning and administration, asset protection planning, tax planning, tax controversy and charitable planning.Mr. Hunter received his J.D. Cum Laude in 1992 from the University of Houston Law Center and his Master of Accounting and B.A. in Economics Cum Laude from Rice University in 1988. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Tax Law. Mr. Hunter has practiced in both the private sector and with the government, where he represented the Commissioner of Internal Revenue before the United States Tax Court.
