James’ primary role is the general oversight of Ardenton, including driving partnerships, transition management, staff management, acquisition and corporate governance. He also serves on the investment committee. Previously, James was the corporate finance partner with Wolrige Mahon, where he built a corporate finance group focussing on acquisitions, divestitures, finance, and management consulting to entrepreneurs. In that role, he worked with over 500 companies across industries including forestry, agriculture, finance, construction and general manufacturing and distribution. James obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts from UBC in 1995.
