David Wright

David Wright, Director, is a member of BlackRock’s Scientific Active Equity (SAE) team. He is a product strategist responsible for communication of the team’s long only, partial short and long/short strategies with clients and consultants. Prior to moving to his current position in 2006, he was a member of the performance measurement team and then the Business Development Resource Group. Mr Wright’s service with the firm dates back to 2001, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Mr Wright earned a BA degree in economics from the University of Leicester in 2001.
