Sol Kumin
Sol Kumin established Folger Hill Asset Management in 2014 after working for ten years at SAC Capital Advisors, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Office of the CEO. His prior positions at SAC included Head of Global Business Development and Chief Operating Officer of CR Intrinsic Investors (a division of SAC). Prior to SAC, Mr. Kumin was Vice President, Institutional Sales at Sanford Bernstein. He started his career at Lazard Asset Management, where he worked as a Marketing Associate. Mr. Kumin is a Member of Starwood Property Trust’s Board of Directors, a Member of the Board of Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, an Investment Committee Member of St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire, a Member of the US Lacrosse Foundation Board, and Co-Founder of Boston Investment Conference for Boston’s Children’s Hospital. Mr. Kumin holds a BA in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University.
