Randy Yatscoff

Dr. Yatscoff has spent the last six years at TEC Edmonton initially as an Alberta Heritage Foundation Medical Research Executive in Residence and more recently as Executive Vice-President of Business Development. He is responsible for a team that works with over 80 companies on an annual basis. He has over ten years experience as a Biotech Executive in publically traded companies. He is a seasoned director on both public and private company Boards and actively participated on several Advisory Boards and Committees both Industry and Academic related. He was part of the team that raised over $200M in equity financing for a Biotech company. He provides guidance and mentorship to local start-up companies on technology commercialization, business planning, presentations, investor relations and financing. He is actively involved with assisting start-up companies to secure financing. He currently holds more than 20 patents. He is an accomplished Academic with almost twenty years spent in increasing roles in several Canadian Universities, having attained the status of Full Professor. He is an active and involved community member, fully supporting key groups, participating in Board responsibility and fundraising for causes.
