Trent Yang

Trent is an entrepreneur, executive, and investor based in Denver, Colorado. Currently, he is the director of private equity for AMG National Trust Bank (“AMG”), $4B privately held wealth management firm headquartered in Denver, CO. Within this role, he is responsible for leading, sourcing, investing, and managing energy, infrastructure, and international private equity investments for AMG. Trent has over 15+ years of entrepreneurial, investment, strategy, and project/product development experience including time as founder/CEO of a water technology company based in Boston, founder and director of a public-private partnership with the University of Colorado for commercializing renewable energy technologies, investor with a $1B venture capital firm focused in technology and cleantech investments, and providing strategic advice to US government and Fortune 500 companies. Trent has deployed and managed over several hundred million dollars of investments in the energy and technology space and is a recognized expert in the energy industry and sits on the Blackstone Entrepreneurial Network in Colorado. Trent has a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Colorado and M.S. in both Aerospace Engineering and Technology Management & Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
