Art Robinson

 has over 20 years of private equity and energy industry experience and has participated in over 100 energy services transactions with a combined value in excess of $1.5 billion. Prior to founding Archer, Art spent seven years with 32 Degrees Capital, an energy-focused private equity firm based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with approximately $200 million of assets under management. At 32 Degrees, Art was a Managing Partner and responsible for creating, developing and managing the firm’s energy services strategy and for sourcing and managing portfolio company investments. During this time, he led seven platform investments and oversaw an additional 13 add-on acquisitions. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xtend Energy Services Inc., HPC Energy Services Ltd. and Ignite Energy Services Ltd., and as a member of the Board of Directors of CORE Linepipe Inc., Markwater Handling Systems Ltd. and Vertex Energy Services Ltd. Prior to joining 32 Degrees Capital, Art was a Board Observer, Secretary and Vice President, Corporate Development with EnerMax Services Inc., a North American energy services fluid management company with revenues in excess of $300 million and an SCF Partners portfolio company. At EnerMax he was responsible for executing the company’s M&A strategy, which included 20 acquisitions across Western Canada and the Northern United States. Prior to EnerMax, Art was a Vice President at SCF Partners, one of the leading and largest energy services private equity firms in the world. During his seven years at SCF, Art led or participated in six platform investments and over 60 other energy services transactions including add-ons, divestitures, private portfolio company exits and bond and initial public offerings. Art received a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge and a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University. Art currently serves on the Board of Directors of Air Drilling Associates Inc.
