Andrew Rechtschaffen

Andrew Rechtschaffen graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA.  Andrew began his career in 2000 as an Associate in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division.  After Morgan Stanley, Andrew joined Greenlight Capital as an Analyst in April 2002 and became a Partner there in January 2005.  Later that year, he joined Citadel Investment Group as a Managing Director in their Principal Strategies Group overseeing a team of five analysts and managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio.  After Citadel, in January 2008, Andrew launched Obrem Capital.  In December 2010, Andrew returned capital to Obrem investors, and in March 2011, Andrew rejoined Greenlight.  He became a Partner there again in January 2014.  Andrew left Greenlight in February 2017 to start AREX Capital.
