William Luedtke

Billy Luedtke currently serves as Enterprise Architect & Advisor at Consensys, and services a number of different internal and external teams. Prior to joining Consensys, Billy was a founding member of Ernst & Young’s blockchain practice, which he helped start as a grassroots effort. At EY, Billy led the technical development of blockchain-enabled distributed systems in the West US and abroad as a Senior Technology Advisor. Prior to forming the blockchain practice at EY, Billy was a Technology Advisor for the Financial Services industry, where he worked with many of the world’s leading financial institutions to drive strategic performance improvement and enterprise intelligence.?? Billy first got involved in the blockchain space in late 2012 as a small-time GPU miner, and immediately latched onto Ethereum in March of 2014 upon first hearing about it. He has been obsessed ever since. As a techno-optimist and generalist, Billy’s goal is to move the world forward by contributing in any way possible to the Ethereum ecosystem.?? Originally from New Jersey, Billy graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California. He now resides in San Francisco, where he can be found surfing, skiing, kiteboarding, hodling, developing DApps, and preaching the Ethereum gospel.
