Ken Schapiro

Ken Schapiro founded Condor Capital in 1988 and serves as its president. As a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder, he manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, pension plans, and corporations. Built by Mr. Schapiro from the ground up, Condor Capital has recently surpassed $1 billion under management. In 2018, Barron’s recognized Condor Capital in their annual Top Advisors List for the second consecutive year. Condor was also recently recognized by NJBiz Magazine as one of the top places to work in New Jersey. Although Condor is Mr. Schapiro’s flagship business, he also owns and operates four other businesses. He is a partner and serves as the president of AAA Worldwide Transportation, as well as the managing partner of Courtside Racquet Club, which recently won the 2009 USTA Outstanding Facility Award. Mr. Schapiro is also a partner and advisor to ReferABuyer, an online affiliate marketing company. His most recent venture is BackEnd Benchmarking. BackEnd Benchmarking’s goal is to bring transparency to the financial services industry and to empower individual investors to seek out best practices and products. BackEnd Benchmarking has had great success as a publisher of The Robo Report™, and their research has been featured in a Barron’s cover story, as well as WSJ, Money, and Investment News among other publications. BackEnd Benchmarking is currently developing a personal finance and investment software and is seeking funding to finance development costs. He is also a past president of the Counsel of Independent Financial Advisors (CIFA), a nationally recognized association of independent investment advisors, and was previously named one of the 40 Under 40 by NJBiz Magazine. Mr. Schapiro graduated Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from The University of Colorado at Boulder.
