CAPT (RET) Christopher Lindsay

Director of Leadership Development, All American Leadership, LLC

Chris Lindsay graduated from Duke University in 1980, and upon commissioning as a Naval Officer was immediately selected to attend Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training. He subsequently deployed to the Middle East and Asia-Pacific as a SEAL Officer and unit leader, and commanded the US Navy Parachute Team. Chris was also awarded his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management in 1990. A military career spanning 3 decades included unique leadership opportunities, including command of overseas SEAL and Joint Special Operations units, command of all SEAL Selection and Training, and development of the first SEAL Commanding Officer leadership course. He assessed, selected and trained elite warriors to serve on high performing teams under combat conditions. Since leaving active duty, Chris has worked in both private and public sectors – assisting with the integration of a corporate acquisition, providing formal mentorship to SEAL Officer Candidates and providing keynote talks and classroom training to organizations such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Lisi Aerospace, Colorado Western University and the Loyola Marymount EMBA program. Chris will tell you that leading and mentoring young SEALs was both an honor and a calling – that he witnessed inspiring examples of mission focus, unit trust and moral courage. He is passionate about the application of these qualities to your organization – and especially eager to apply lessons about teamwork, trust, and culture learned in the “leadership laboratory” known as SEAL training!
