Susannah Pierce

Susannah Pierce is External Relations Director of LNG Canada, a Shell, PETRONAS, PetroChina, Mitsubishi Corporation and Kogas joint venture.In this role, Susannah is responsible for leading Government Relations, Social Performance, Communications and First Nation functions for the project.Prior to this position, Susannah held other high level senior management positions within Shell. Positions such as: Vice President, Value Chain Integration, responsible for identifying and driving commercial opportunities along the value chain between Shell’s multiple businesses in Canada. Vice President, Communications, Upstream International based in The Hague overseeing a communications team of approximately 200 professionals in Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, Russia/CIS and Europe as well as Head, Government Relations in Canada.Before joining Shell in 2009, Susannah was head of US Public Sector Affairs for TransCanada Pipelines based in Washington, DC and New York City.Susannah has a Masters from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. from The George Washington University. Born in Canada but living the balance of her life in the US and Europe, Susannah now considers BC home for the long term with her two children.
