Zach Ferres

ZACH FERRES is the CEO at Coplex, a nationally-ranked Startup Accelerator that partners with industry experts to start successful tech companies. Coplex has helped start over 275 startup companies around the globe and was named one of the ‘Top 7 Startup Accelerators in America’ by Entrepreneur Magazine. At 16, Zach started his first company BounceFire, an Ohio-based technology services company. In 2010, he had the honor of representing BounceFire at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards as one of the “Top 33 Student Entrepreneurs” in the world. At the competition Zach met a judge who later acquired BounceFire in May of 2011, when Zach was 24. In 2012, Zach joined the executive team at Coplex alongside many from the BounceFire team. Alongside the founder, Ilya Pozin, they began to pivot the company from a 35-person software development company to a Startup Accelerator. Zach took over as the CEO of Coplex in 2013 and purchased the company in 2016. Coplex has a structured 9-month program that is designed to take industry expert founding teams from idea to seed-ready. The program is built on a proven lean startup process and provides support with product development, go-to-market, private events, mentorship, immersive education, fundraising, and much more. Coplex has helped start over 275 startup companies around the globe. Their startups have raised over $850M in VC and have an aggregate market value of over $3.5B.
