Ed Mendel

Co-Founder, Davis, Mendel, and Regenstein

Ed Mendel is the co-founder of Davis, Mendel & Regenstein and the Ned Davis Research Group, an institutional investment research firm started in 1980 which sold in 2011 to the UK based company Euromoney. Before starting NDR, Ed had the honor and privilege of working with many of the philanthropic leaders in the Atlanta community when he was a stock broker at J.C. Bradford. He had the distinction of being recognized through his selection by The Hirsch Organization for inclusion in its Directory of Exceptional Stock Brokers in the United States. Ed has served on the Boards of many leading civic organizations and non-profits in the Atlanta area, including B’nai B’rith Youth Organization (BBYO), the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, and Pace Academy, where he is currently a Life Trustee. He has been philanthropically involved in numerous other Atlanta charities such as the Jewish Home and Jewish Family & Career Services. Ed is a minority owner of the Atlanta Falcons. Ed is married to Barbara Mendel, his wife of over 44 years, and has three children, Jennifer, Meredith & Brett, and four grandchildren.
