Sean Connor

Sean Connor is a Managing Director of Owl Rock Capital Partners and Owl Rock Capital Securities LLC, and a member of the Investor Relations and Business Development team. Prior to joining Owl Rock, Mr. Connor served as a Managing Director of CION Investment Management, the adviser to CION Investment Corporation (CION), a non-traded business development company that is sub-advised by Apollo Investment Management, from 2012 through 2015. Mr. Connor was a member of CION’s Investment Committee and responsible for overseeing all aspects of CION’s business, which successfully launched and grew to approximately $1.5 billion of AUM during his tenure. Prior to joining CION, Mr. Connor held roles of increasing responsibility at ICON Investments, from 2005 through 2012, focusing on originating, underwriting, negotiating and corporate finance transactions globally. Mr. Connor received a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University. Mr. Connor maintains Series 7, 66 and 24 registrations.
