Austin Walters

Austin Walters is the Founder and Managing Partner of SpringTide Capital Management, a venture firm focused on supporting technology companies using AI to expand access to quality, affordable healthcare. Prior to founding SpringTide in 2017, he was the Commercial Director of EchoNous, a handheld AI / ultrasound company in Seattle, for which he helped raise $100M in equity financing while completing his MBA at Harvard Business School in 2016. Between years at Harvard, he researched disruptive medical technology in India with Clay Christensen, building on work he’d begun for Walgreens, J&J, and Medtronic as a consultant at Boston-based strategy consulting firm Innosight. Austin also holds degrees in International Relations and Russian from Brigham Young University, and lives with his wife Rachel in Boston and New York City.
