Jason Badesha

Director of Alternatives, Institutional & Family Offices, Manning & Napier

Jason Badesha is the Director of Institutional and Family Offices at Manning & Napier. In this role, Jason is responsible for executing the strategic plan for these client segments both domestically and abroad. Jason is also responsible for leading the Firm’s non-traditional customized products distribution efforts as well as coordinating all aspects of client relationships with investors. Jason joined Manning & Napier in 2014 and has over 15 years of industry experience. Much of his professional career was spent with Citigroup, where he held roles in Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Strategy and Business Development. Specifically, with Citigroup’s Global Wealth Management Group, Jason was responsible for selecting and monitoring hedge funds and fund-of-hedge fund products for clients, and he also worked on the firm’s Global Hedge Strategies joint venture with Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company (PAAMCO) which specialized in the construction of customized hedge fund portfolios for ultra high-net-worth clients. In addition to his years at Citigroup, Jason spent time at Fairfield Heathcliff Capital developing customized fund-of-hedge fund portfolios, and Sciens Capital, a private equity firm, where he covered asset management and renewable energy investments. Most recently, Jason was a co-founder of OpenArc Asset Management, an SEC-registered independent wealth management firm at which he led research and manager selection efforts for traditional and alternative investments. Jason earned his BS in Accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds Series 3, 6, 30, 63, and 65 licenses.
