Ryan Mollet

Ryan Mollett joined Angelo Gordon in 2019 as the Head of Global Distressed Debt and is a member of the firm’s executive committee.  He oversees the Angelo Gordon teams in the U.S. and Europe focused on distressed debt and special situations opportunities. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan was a Senior Managing Director at GSO Capital Partners, the global credit investment platform of Blackstone, where he focused on distressed and special situations investing.  While at GSO, Ryan served as a joint portfolio manager of GSO’s capital solutions and special situations funds, and as portfolio manager for its land acquisition and development funds.  Previously, Ryan was a director and portfolio manager at BlackRock, a trader at First New York Securities and a consultant at Gemini Realty Advisors. Ryan has a B.A. in History from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from Yale University.
