Qindong (Bruce) Liu

Bruce was a portfolio manager and partner of PhaseCapital, managing the fund’s equity strategies and leading the firm’s investment research. Prior to PhaseCapital, he was an equity strategist at WisdomTree Asset Management, spearheading the firm’s effort to build out “Modern Alpha” active ETF strategies and products, including the firm’s first multi-factor US equity fund and first actively managed futures strategy. He was a sell-side equity strategist at Sanford Bernstein, authoring the firm’s flagship global equity portfolio strategy research. Bruce was a portfolio manager and research analyst at Dow Chemical Portfolio Investments, managing $25 billion global pension and insurance assets. Bruce was a project manager at IBM China, serving the financial services sector, before coming to the U.S.. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from University of Connecticut and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
