Ms. Hilpman joined Barlow Partners in 2001 as a Partner. She and George Hambrecht are responsible for the selection and monitoring of all investments. During her career, Ms. Hilpman has been at the forefront of investing in alternative investment strategies. For nine years, Ms. Hilpman was at Commonfund serving in the final years as Vice President, Investments with co-responsibility for hedge fund investments. In 1994, Ms. Hilpman joined Dubin and Swieca as Director of Alternative Manager Research. Subsequently, she returned to the endowment community as an Investment Officer at Dartmouth College. Following Dartmouth, Ms. Hilpman joined Global Asset Management in 1998 as a portfolio manager with responsibility for the U.S. component of GAM Diversity, a $1.1 Billion fund-of-funds. Ms. Hilpman graduated with a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
