Neuberger Berman is a publicly held, New York-based investment firm that manages over $53.6 billion for individuals, institutions and a family of no-load mutual funds. Ms. Steiger also sits on the firm’s 6-person Executive Management Committee and its Board of Directors. At Neuberger Berman, she serves as head of Private Asset Management (PAM), which provides high net worth individuals and families, and small to medium-sized institutions with discretionary investment management and trust services. PAM currently has $20.8 billion in assets under management. Before joining Neuberger Berman in 1986, she was senior vice president in charge of special products at Herzfeld & Stern, an investment banking and brokerage firm. Ms. Steiger has authored numerous articles on financial decision-making and investments that have appeared in business and consumer magazines. She received a B.A. in English/Communications from Boston College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University. She also received her certification as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from American College.
