Brian’s passion is pioneering new technology developments and catalyzing the evolution of mobile paradigms. As the CEO and Co-Founder of APX Labs, Brian uses his background in national intelligence systems and computer engineering to position APX Labs as a competitive business in mobile application and wearable computing development for military and industrial markets. He previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of Mav6, where he was involved in the development of emerging networking technologies and embedded systems for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance applications in government and the military intelligence. Brian spent more than a decade working as a field operations officer and engineer and for the National Security Agency where he developed cutting edge solutions for the intelligence community. In support of technology policy and decision making, Brian served on the Technology Insight-Gauge, Evaluate, Review (TIGER) committee of the National Academy of Sciences, focusing on modeling and simulation and the impacts of technology decisions on national policy. Brian holds an M.S. and B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA and Masters of Technology Management from the University of Maryland.
