ETHAN ASSAL has more than 30 years of experience building and growing companies. Mr. Assal is the Managing Partner of Current Yield with Participation Fund I, LLC, Current Yield with Participation Fund II, LLC, Current Yield with Participation Fund III, LLC, Current Yield with Participation Fund IV, LLC and Current Yield with Participation Fund V, LLC (together, “CYwP Funds”). The funds provide flexible growth capital through debt and equity investments primarily in operating companies and in high-yield real estate opportunities based in the continental United States. CYwP Funds (cywpfund.com) seek and curate diverse investments that not only provide quarterly distributions of interest or dividends but also have the potential for significant capital appreciation. All three funds have made quarterly distributions to investors every quarter since their inception. The funds strive for tax efficiency and expect a significant portion of the quarterly distributions to investors to be tax deferred. He also currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Verasolve (verasolve.com), a marketing, public relations and branding firm. In 2017 he founded the Moxie Award the premier business awards program in the DC metro market (moxieaward.com). Prior to creating Verasolve, Mr. Assal founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Multi-Media Holdings, Inc. (MHI), which in 2000 was ranked by The Washington Business Journal as the largest advertising firm in the Washington DC metro area. Prior to MHI, he founded Personalities, Inc. that grew to be the largest manufacturer and distributor of non-apparel licensed rock n’ roll merchandise. Mr. Assal is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, a member of the Washington Business Journal’s “Forty Under Forty,” and a recipient of the Mass Mutual Blue Chip Award. He also serves on a number of local corporate boards and is an active member of the Washington-Baltimore Young President’s Organization. Mr. Assal is a graduate of the Harvard Business School OPM Program and holds a B.A. in economics from Brandeis University.
