Russell J. Lucas
Russell Lucas joined Shearson in 1982 in the trading department, adding a third generation to the Lucas Wall Street tradition. He became a Senior Portfolio Manager in 1992 and merged his clients with those of his father to form Lucas Capital Management in 1996. He shares his family’s interest in energy companies and has trained extensively in financial consulting to high net worth individuals and wealth management. He has extensively researched the Canadian royalty and income trusts and has built a broad network of research relationships with management, analysts and other Canadian industry professionals. Mr. Lucas is currently a registered representative of First Montauk Securities Corp., an FINRA/SIPC registered broker dealer, and receives commissions in connection with certain non-discretionary brokerage transactions executed through such firm. Mr. Lucas received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1982 from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Tuckerton Seaport, Count Basie Theater Foundation, the Advisory Board of Blackstone Minerals and of The Community Foundation of New Jersey where he is former Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Lucas was a co-founder of Lucas Capital Management in 1996, and he has been a principal and senior portfolio manager for client accounts. Mr. Lucas co-Chairs the LEV Investment Committee.
