Elan Divon
Elan Divon is a Harvard-educated author, motivational speaker and non-profit executive. His passion lies in taking wisdom themes found in world religion and mythology and integrating these into messages that inspire, motivate and foster innovation and growth in individuals, organizations and groups.Over the last decade, Elan has translated his passion into helping people of all backgrounds develop their potential. He has worked with teenagers from conflict zones in building leadership, empowered the homeless as an instructor with the Ve’ahavta Street Academy, and engaged business executives, entrepreneurs and CEOs on how to spur innovation in their companies. A popular Huffington Post Contributor, Elan has presented to audiences across North America and has been featured on networks including CTV, CBC, Global Television and Deepak Chopra’s Wellness Radio show. His first book, Reaching Beyond the Religious (2010), explores wisdom themes from across the religious divide and their resonance in global affairs. He is currently working on his second book entitled The Initiation. An engaging public speaker, Elan has addressed audiences across North America on both his peace work and writings, and has been featured on networks such as CTV, CBC, Global Television and Deepak Chopra’s radio show. He is currently completing his second book entitled The Initiation. Elan holds Master’s Degrees from Harvard and Brandeis Universities, and a B.A. from University of London’s Birckbeck College. A world traveler who has lived in four continents, Elan resides in Toronto with his wife and serves as the Toronto executive director for Canadian Friends of Hebrew University.
