Job Title: Marketing & Communications Intern  

Job Classification: Temporary, Part-Time

Reports To: Communications & Content Marketing Manager

Location: Remote – US based. Occasional travel required (<10%)

Salary Range: $18.00/hour (or applicable minimum wage, whichever is higher)

Schedule: 20-25 hours/week

POSITION SUMMARY:

TIGER 21 is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing and Communications Intern to support our team in executing marketing campaigns, creating content, and enhancing brand awareness. This internship offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and communications strategy.

This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in marketing and communications while working with a collaborative team. The internship starts April 1 and lasts through August 29, with the possibility of extension.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned

• Create engaging content for TIGER 21’s social media platforms, website, and digital marketing campaigns
• Assist in graphic design tasks, including updating marketing collateral, creating event invitations, digital graphics for marketing campaigns, PowerPoint presentations, and more as needed
• Support internal and external email marketing efforts, as well as monthly newsletters
• Support public relations efforts
• Photo and video editing
• Data entry and general administration
• Conduct research related to marketing activities
• Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
• Review and report on performance analytics

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
• Previous internship or project experience in marketing or communications is a plus

TECHNOLOGY:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Exposure to email marketing tools (Salesforce Account Engagement) and website CMS (WordPress) is a plus
