Tony Kane

(Oliver) Tony Kane, Head of Marketing for the Americas, is based in Greenwich, Connecticut and is responsible for building and servicing Ashmore’s client relationships throughout the Americas. Prior to the formation of Ashmore, he joined ANZ Investment Bank in 1993 as Head of its emerging market debt sales and trading team in New York. Before ANZ, Tony spent nearly six years with Equitable Capital Management Corp. as a Senior Vice President heading the firm’s international expansion. Previously he had a 15 year career in corporate finance with JP Morgan & Co working in New York, London and Hong Kong. He holds a BA degree from Harvard College and attended the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.
