Greg Tisdale

Greg Tisdale served as the Chief Financial Officer of Crescent Point Energy Corp. from 2004 to January 5, 2016.  Through his tenure as Chief Financial Officer of Crescent Point Energy, Mr. Tisdale was involved in all financial, strategic and business aspects of the growth of one of the largest independent oil companies in Canada.  Prior to joining Crescent Point in October 2004, he served as a Vice President of Finance at Direct Energy Marketing Ltd since September 2003.  In this role, he provided financial oversight of the gas and power trading activities in North America and its upstream oil and gas production in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, and formed part of the management team responsible for any upstream asset acquisitions.  Prior to joining Direct Energy, Mr. Tisdale served in senior management positions at AltaGas Services Inc. from 2002 to 2003, Shell Trading Gas & Power Canada Ltd from 1998 to 2002 and Engage Energy Inc. from 1994 to 1998.  In his position at AltaGas, he was responsible for the development of a corporate strategy around executing a power generation business line.  In his roles at Shell Trading and Engage Energy, he managed financial aspects surrounding all gas and power trading activities for the Canadian operations and served as a Member of the leadership teams that contributed to North American and global finance initiatives.  He has been a Director at Cardinal Energy Ltd since January 7, 2014 and also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Equicapita Income Foundation.  He is a Chartered Accountant and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and in addition Mr. Tisdale holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta (with distinction).
