Ali Hamed

Ali Hamed is a General Partner at CoVenture where he co-leads early stage investments team and the firm’s emerging assets fund, which buys securities off of emerging origination platforms. Before CoVenture Ali founded a machine learning startup focused on identifying sentiment data in news articles. He has also served as a consultant to a number of medium to large private companies and while going to school at Cornell University Ali co-founded a maker space called the POPSHOP. In the past few years he has acted as a mentor or advisor to LaunchPad, Startup Labs and the Thiel Fellowship and is on the advisory board of the non-profit, Let’s Get Ready. Ali was an independent studies major at Cornell University where he played on the baseball team.
