Peter Schober

Co-Founder, Milk Street Ventures

Peter Schober co-founded Milk Street Ventures with Mike Schiavo in 1997. He has made over 25 investments, mostly as lead investor, and served on various boards as an active director, including appointments to executive, audit, and compensation committees. Peter started his venture capital career during business school with TVM Techno Venture Management, one of Germany’s earliest and largest technology venture capital firms. Subsequently, he was a member of the original team that established TVM’s investment office in the United States. In 1989, Peter co-founded MVP Ventures in Boston. MVP Ventures raised four funds and made investments in a range of sectors, including information technology, communications, life sciences, hospitality, and industrial. Starting in 1998, Peter developed the concept for, established, and ran the European investment activity of M/C Venture Partners, a leading early-stage U.S. venture capital firm in the communications sector. A native of Austria, Peter is fluent in English, German, French, and Swedish. He earned his B.A. degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and received an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance as well as an MA from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania in 1986.
