Anthony DeToto

Anthony teaches, speaks and writes about financial literacy, raising financially responsible children, conflicts of interest, mentoring, family offices and leadership. Anthony is on Sentinel’s executive committee and oversees all external communications and client onboarding – assuring that clients and prospective client families have access to the full range of the firm’s customized solutions. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2007 as the last founding partner, Anthony spent six years in the Private Bank & Investment Group of Merrill Lynch helping technology executives and venture capitalists. Anthony served on the founding teams of two different Inc. 500 fast growth firms resulting in an IPO and a venture buy out. He began his work in financial services in 1993 after leaving active duty military service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Germany and Kuwait.Anthony received his Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He serves on the board at the Bush School at A&M, is active in Legatus (past president), Veteran Conference, US Army Cyber Center of Excellence, Cristo Rey, West Point Cyber Center Association, the Catholic Archdiocese and philanthropy as well as entrepreneurship focused on at-risk youth and transitioning veterans. Anthony and his wife reside in Houston, Texas with their two sons. Sentinel is a 20-year-old multi-family office and wealth management firm that manages the money and personal affairs of a select group of families whose wealth will impact three or more generations.
