Patrick Fox

Patrick Fox, Managing Partner, is responsible for deal origination, evaluation, structuring and execution.  Patrick is the portfolio manager for the firm’s $325 million credit fund.  Patrick has a decade of experience in energy and finance.  Prior to joining New Energy Capital, Patrick was a Director in the origination and project finance group at Hannon Armstrong Capital, where he led and participated in over $250 million of project financings, primarily for solar and wind energy projects.  Before Hannon Armstrong Capital, Patrick was a Principal at Pacific Gas and Electric Company where he negotiated, structured, and executed over $2 billion in power purchase agreements (PPAs).  He began his civilian career at Merrill Lynch in the Debt Capital Markets group.  His experience includes transactions in solar PV, solar thermal, geothermal, wind, biomass and renewable energy credits (RECs).  Prior to his career in energy, Patrick was a U.S. Air Force pilot where he served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Patrick holds a B.S. in Economics from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
