Brandon Williams

Brandon Williams is the Eastern Regional Manager of the Private Bank, supporting wealthy families, professional service firms and nonprofit organizations achieve their unique financial goals.  The private bank provides tailored credit, investment management, financial planning and trust solutions to grow, protect, and transfer wealth.  Mr. Williams has more than 25 years of extensive financial services experience. Prior to his current role at City National, he spent 14 years with TD Bank in various senior leadership roles. Mr. Williams served as a member of the bank’s management committee and head of the wealth management division in the U.S. that consisted of private banking, private and institutional trust, investment management and the mass affluent business. Additionally, he led the rapid growth of the retail bank (formerly Commerce Bank) in New York City. As the retail market president, he was instrumental in the expansion and growth of the bank from one branch in 2001 to 85 in 2010 – achieving $10 billion in deposits. He also served as the chief of staff to the chief executive officer and president.Mr. Williams is passionate about building and leading high performing teams in wealth management, retail and commercial banking. He is an entrepreneurial leader who focuses on exceeding client expectations and delivering top and bottom line results to achieve long-term business objectives. A member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and active in the community, Mr. Williams currently serves as Chair of Board of Trustees for the National MS Society, New York City – Southern New York Chapter.
