Jonas Woods

Mr. Woods is the co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Hayman Woods, will be a member of the Fund’s investment committee and is responsible, with Mr. Bass, for the development and execution of the Firm’s investment strategies.Prior to forming Hayman Woods, Mr. Woods was President of Hillwood Capital.  Mr. Woods joined Ross Perot, Jr.’s real estate company, Hillwood, in 1994; three years later, at the age of 26, he became Hillwood’s youngest principal and, in a 13-year career at Hillwood, held multiple executive positions including Vice President Finance, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and President.From 1999 through 2007, Mr. Woods ran Hillwood Capital, the company’s opportunistic investment group.  In 2002, he assumed further responsibility for Hillwood’s $3 billion Victory Park development, one of the largest urban developments in the country and instrumental in the revitalization of downtown Dallas.During his 13-year tenure at Hillwood Development and Hillwood Capital, Mr. Woods was responsible for underwriting, structuring and managing over $2 billion in real estate transactions, with a primary focus on residential development in multiple markets including Texas, California, Florida, Wyoming, Hawaii and Costa Rica.  In addition, he led the seed equity investment into Hawkeye Partners, LP, which subsequently raised $700 million from leading public pension plans with the objective of creating institutional-quality real estate investment management platforms. Before Hillwood, Mr. Woods was a corporate analyst in the Media and Communications Group at NationsBank.  While there, he assisted in underwriting and syndicating debt transactions with combined exposure value in excess of $3 billion.Mr. Woods graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.
